READING, Pa. – Facing off against each other in Reading for the first time in three years, the Reading Royals routed the Atlanta Gladiators, 7-2, on Friday night. The Royals controlled play for most of the game, leading 7-0 halfway through the third. The Gladiators showed some life with less than six minutes left in the third when Derek Nesbitt got a breakaway goal to breakup the shutout.
