PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Pensacola Ice Flyers played host to the Birmingham Bulls for their first home game of the 2021-2022 regular season on October 16, 2021.
Prior to the puck dropping, the Ice Flyers celebrated their fourth SPHL championship by raising the banner. The Ice Flyers took a 3-2 overtime win on a goal by Dalton Young 12 seconds into the extra period with Pensacola on the power play.
