KNOXVILLE, Tenn – The Knoxville Ice Bears hosted the Fayetteville Marksmen Friday night at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
The Ice Bears started the scoring early with two goals from Brett Ouderkirk within the first seven minutes of the game. In his first start of the season, goaltender Jimmy Poreda made 25 saves. The Knoxville Ice Bears beat the visiting Fayetteville Marksmen 5-2.
