MACON, Ga. – It was Peanuts night for the Macon Mayhem when they faced the Fayetteville Marksmen on Saturday night. The Mayhem celebrated Thanksgiving at the Macon Coliseum by wearing specialty jerseys featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the Peanuts gang.
Macon has had some success against the Marksmen this season and hoped to continue that trend. The Mayhem controlled the first period, netting the only two goals. Fayetteville would strike back in the middle frame, cutting Macon’s lead in half. Macon continued to push in the third period, extending the lead and holding off the Marksmen. The Mayhem would attain their second win over Fayetteville and of the season with a final score of 4 to 2.
