CINCINNATI, Ohio– It was a Friday night to remember for the Cincinnati Cyclones as they erased a 3-0 deficit to beat the Fort Wayne Komets in Game 1 of the Central Division Semifinals.

Fort Wayne maintained a clean scoring sheet for over 43 minutes of play until Zack Andrusiak put the Cyclones on the scoreboard with a power-play goal 3:10 into the third period. Three minutes later, Zack Andrusiak scored again on a breakaway, assisted by Jalen Smereck and Andrew Nielsen, to make 3-2 still in favor of the Komets. Cincinnati outshot Fort Wayne 14-6 in the third period, and it paid off when Matt Berry scored the game-tying goal with less than seven minutes in regulation, sending the game to overtime.

Louie Caporusso, assisted by Zack Andrusiak and Andrew Nielsen, scored the game-winning goal 2:42 into OT to complete the comeback for Cincinnati. Netminder Beck Warm, who came in for Mark Sinclair at the start of the second period, had 24 saves for the Cyclones.
