JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Icemen blanked the visiting Greenville Swamp Rabbits in a 3-0 victory on Wednesday night.
Icemen netminder Charles Williams recorded his first shutout of the season, blocking all 27 shots by the Swamp Rabbits. Craig Martin continued his point streak with a goal in the first period and leads the team with 21 points (9 goals, 12 assists)
The Icemen, who have won 11 of their last 13 games, continue to sit in second place in the South Division. Currently, they sit only one point back from first place Florida and are five points ahead of third-place Orlando.
