MACON, Ga. – The Huntsville Havoc faced the Macon Mayhem for only the third time this season on March 3, 2023. Huntsville has won all the previous meetings with Macon.
The Mayhem netted the first goal of the game early in the first period. There wouldn’t be another goal until the last four minutes of the middle frame when Huntsville tied the game. It was shaping up to be a competitive third period but the Havoc had different plans. The Havoc would go on to net 5 goals before the final buzzer. Macon could not gain any momentum and would fall to Huntsville with a final score of 6 to 2.
