MACON, Ga. – The Knoxville Ice Bears visited the Macon Mayhem for the first time this season on November 15. The theme for the game was “Whitey Tighty Toss” night. Fans were to throw new clothing items onto the ice after the Mayhem’s first goal to support local charities. The Ice Bears would net the first goal of the game. The Mayhem answered quickly followed by undergarments and clothing raining down from the crowd. The first period would end with the scoreboard showing 4-1 in Knoxville’s favor. Macon would unsuccessfully play catch up during the second and third periods ultimately falling 4-3.
