READING, PA – The Reading Royals and Newfoundland Growlers faced off for one last time before the series transitioned to St. John’s, Newfoundland.
The Growlers wasted no time in scoring, Keenan Suthers scored on a breakaway just 14 seconds into the period. Max Newton tied up the game two minutes later. The Growlers regained the lead 10 minutes later before taking a five goal lead into the third period. Evan Barratt and Brendan Hoffmann both scored for the Royals in the third period but they could not complete the comeback. The final score was 6-3.
