MACON, Ga. – The Macon Mayhem hosted the Pensacola Ice Flyers on Tuesday, February 25. The odd midweek date was due to it being a rescheduled game caused by ice troubles at the Macon Coliseum. The Mayhem and Ice Flyers squared off in what would be an evenly matched competition. Macon’s Stephen Pierog would find the back of the net in both the first and second periods. The Mayhem played a complete game as goalie Hayden Stewart would pitch a shutout. The final score was 2-0 for Macon.
