WORCESTER, Mass. The Worcester Railers hosted the Reading Royals for the second night in a row on Saturday.
It was the Railers Pink in the Rink night. For the second night in a row the Royals opened the scoring less than a minute into the game, this time it was Devon Paliani 34 seconds into the first. Evan Barratt made it 2-0 Royals three minutes later. Max Newton capped off the first period scoring with a breakaway goal with five minutes left in the period.
The second period featured several close calls but no goal. Anthony Repaci got the Railers on the board with a power play goal three minutes into the third. Alec Butcher put the Royals back up by 3 goals just 10 seconds later. Brent Beaudoin cut the Royals lead to 2 with a shorthanded goal with less than three minutes left in the third. The Railers were not able to get anymore past Kaden Fulcher and fell to the Royals 4-2.
