KNOXVILLE, Tenn – The Knoxville Ice Bears hosted the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs Saturday night in front of the fans at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum.
This was the second of two back-to-back games between the teams. Tempers reached a boiling point early when Ryan Devine chased down Roanoke’s Spencer Kennedy on the opening face off. They eventually settled the score later in the first period when they dropped gloves at center ice. The heavy hits continued throughout the night as these two rivals continued to battle. Knoxville had goals from Bailey Conger, Jagger Williamson, Carter Cowlthrop, and Razmuz Waxin-Engback. The Knoxville Ice Bears fell to the visiting Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs 7-5.
