ROANOKE, Va. – It was a doubleheader this past weekend at Berglund Center in Roanoke, as the Rail Yard Dawgs hosted the newest SPHL team, The Vermillion County Bobcats. Friday night’s game saw Roanoke with a goal, less than a minute into the first period, thanks to Mac Jansen with an assist from CJ Stubbs. Jansen assisted on the next two goals from Brant Sherwood, who finished the night with a hat trick, as Roanoke logged their first win Friday, 6-3.
