CINCINNATI, Ohio- Friday night gave the local fans big hits, great goals, a hard fight, a hat trick in a fantastic hockey game. Cincinnati took an early lead scoring twice in a 2-minute gap, the Nailers answered with three straight goals but were unable to hold the lead for long. There were 7 goals, five by Cincinnati, in the second period alone in which Zack Andrusiak scored his hat trick at 12:22, assisted by Dajon Mingo and Jesse Schultz. Matt Mcleod (2), Jesse Shultz, Gianluca Esteves, and Lincoln Griffin also scored for the Cyclones, Michael Houser made 31 saves in Cincinnati’s 8-5 victory over the Wheeling Nailers at Heritage Bank Center.
