READING, Pa. – Facing off for the fifth time this season, the Reading Royals defeated the Wheeling Nailers 5-2. The Royals got off to a fast start against the Nailers, ending the first period with a 2-0 lead. The Nailers scored 2 in the second to cut the Royals lead to 3-2 but the Royals held strong and scored 2 empty net goals to secure the win.
