INDEPENDENCE, Mo. – When you go months without seeing the look of a fresh sheet of ice or hearing the goal song, you start to get a little nostalgic. What better time to do so than after the completion of your tenth season. Here is a summary of the first ten years for the Mavericks by the numbers.

2009-10

  • The Missouri Mavericks are formed and added to the Central Hockey League
  • 31-27-6 record in their inaugural season
  • Jeff Christian lead the team in scoring with 29 goals and 49 assists
  • Karl Sellan lead the defensemen in scoring with 12 goals and 11 assists
  • Finished their season with a conference final loss

2010-11

  • 37-2-6 record
  • Nick Sirota lead the team in scoring with 26 goals and 35 assists
  • Ray DiLauro lead the defensemen in scoring with 10 goals and 29 assists
  • Finished season with a conference semifinal loss

2011-12

  • 39-21-6 record
  • Sébastien Thinel lead the team in scoring with 23 goals and 59 assists
  • Dave Pszenyczny lead the defensemen in scoring with 14 goals and 22 assists
  • Finished season with a conference final loss

2012-13

  • 35-25-6 record
  • Thinel lead the team in scoring with 29 goals and 67 assists
  • Brandon Smith lead the defensemen in scoring with nine goals and 22 assists

2014-15

  • The Missouri Mavericks move from the Central Hockey League to the ECHL
  • 28-35-5-4 record
  • Thinel lead the team in scoring with 17 goals and 53 assists
  • Patch Alber lead the defensemen in scoring with one goal and 31 assists
  • Did not make postseason

2015-16

  • 52-15-3-2 record
  • Regular season and division champions
  • Tyler Barnes lead the team in scoring with 24 goals and 37 assists
  • Bryce Aneloski lead the defensemen with eight goals and 20 assists
  • Finished season with a conference semifinal loss

2016-17

  • 33-30-4-5 record
  • Dane Fox lead the team in scoring with 34 goals and 42 assists
  • Matt Finn lead the defensemen with 11 goals and 21 assists
  • Did not make postseason

2017-18

  • 34-32-4-2 record
  • Mark Cooper lead the team in scoring with 23 goals and 24 assists
  • Alber lead the defensemen with five goals and 35 assists
  • Did not make postseason

2018-19

  • 36-30-4-2 record
  • Retired their first number: #43 – Sébastien Thinel
  • Rocco Carzo lead the team in scoring with 20 goals and 39 assits
  • Finished season with a division semifinal loss
