The Holy GrAHL Podcast Episode 39: Ooh, Barracuda

Week two of the 2022-23 American Hockey League season continues, with one team returning from the bottom of the league last season to the top to start this one. Join hosts Zack PowerAndrew RinaldiCorey Swartz, and Deana Weinheimer as they take another dive into the week that was in the AHL.

Tensions in Colorado start this week’s episode. In Breaking News, the hosts talk about a suspension for a Calgary forward, which has a former Calder Cup champion suspended for multiple games.

In the news this week, it was a fast start for Roadrunners forward Laurent Dauphin, who was named the Player of the Week after a stellar performance against Bakersfield. Kyle Rau and Stephen Thomson also make appearances in the weekly news segment.

The debate continued for the hosts in talking about school day games in the swipe left or swipe right and debated if they should be mandated across the board or scrapped altogether.

Thomas Bordeleau joined us this week and talked about the shark-like start for the Barrauca and spoke about his hot start scoring three goals in the first four games of the season for San Jose.

Who is the best roommate at NHL 23? Bordeleau brings us the answer to that question and so much more.

Finally, the bonus round is all about time in the sin bin, with Deana taking the reigns for this week’s episode.
