WICHITA, Kan. – The Sin Bin and Wichita Thunder are partnering on a project to bring Wichita Thunder hockey to fans who are shut-in by the COVID-19 health emergency.
Beginning Wednesday, and continuing for the next five weeks, fans will hear the top-10 Thunder events and games from the last three years.
“We are proud to announce this project and give Thunder fans a way of reliving some of the bright spots from the last three years,” said Editor-in-Chief of The Sin Bin, Matthew Harding. “We hope that this series will give Thunder and all hockey fans a break from the ongoing crisis and hope they stay healthy.”
Here is the order of games and events from ten to one:
10. Wednesday, Mar. 25 – Wichita’s first ECHL Playoff game
9. Friday, Mar. 27 – Ralph Cuddemi‘s Teddy Bear Toss Hat Trick vs. Kalamazoo
8. Monday, Mar. 30 – Mitch Gillam‘s first Thunder shutout vs. Utah
7. Friday, April 3 – Mitch Gillam’s second straight shutout vs. KC
6. Monday, April 6 – Allen vs. Wichita postgame brawl
5. Friday, April 10 – Allen vs. Wichita 12/30/2017
4. Monday, April 13 – Fanfest show & 2020 ECHL All-Star Classic
3. Friday, April 17 – Jack Combs‘ GWG vs. Rapid City
2. Monday, April 20 – Wichita’s first ECHL Playoff win
1. Friday, April 24 – Ryan Van Stralen‘s hat trick & OT GWG vs. COL
